Alterations in Life, Lifts the Veil on The Fashion Industry
A book launch event is unlike any other. It is a tradition in publishing that allows authors to fully express themselves and their ideas while elegantly showcasing their work on the day their book is released to the world.
After dedicating many years to write and craft my story, Alterations in Life, it was a dream come true to be able to honor all of those that have supported me on my journey from the corporate world all the way to my career now in Personal Brand Enhancement, with an event at the fabulous Saks Fifth Ave in Toronto.
Partnering with Saks and having the opportunity to meet and speak with all of the incredible women who have purchased my book about the power of visual representation and brand enhancement (all while surrounded by pieces and items I selected specifically for this occasion) meant so much to me.
Here is just a brief look at the incredible night we had and the amazing women who came together to support this book but, more importantly, support each other in their collective goal to enhance their brand and their lives.
My book describes the many challenges I faced while pursuing my dream in fashion, the many obstacles I overcame along the way to my goal of helping women be the best version of themselves. To now be able to share my thoughts and expertise with women–whether about the stigmas we need to surmount en route to living truly authentic lives or the practical design tips we all need to complete our collections–is an empowering experience I hope you all have the opportunity to take part in at some point.
I want to thank Saks Fith Ave for their tremendous partnership, their support of the book, and for providing us a platform. And I also want to thank each and every one you for providing me a platform and entrusting me to help guide you in the elevation of your brand. It means the absolute world to me.
